You can adopt pets in La Paz and bring them to the United States

The new program for sending pets abroad has been very successful in La Paz, according to the city government.

Pilar Martinez coordinator of this program of the Municipal Center for Dog Care (CEMAC), said 32 dogs have already left with families in the United States and Canada.

These dogs were rescued from the streets of La Paz or from places where they were abused and abandoned.

The last five dogs were sent to families in Portland who were very happy to receive them at the airport.

Prior to these shipments, the pets are checked for several days by veterinarians, vaccinated and health procedures are carried out.

If you want to know more about this adoption program, go to the City Hall of La Paz and ask for Mrs. Pilar Martinez.
