All the beaches in Los Cabos and La Paz are closed

The beach administration office of the Los Cabos municipal government (ZOFEMAT) has reported that all beaches are closed to the public and no people will be allowed to gather due to the covid-19 emergency.

Javier Ontiveros Fabian, director of the office, said the only people who can be on the beaches are the maintenance staff as well as the lifeguards who work during their normal hours.

He invited all the families that do not go to the beaches. Police officers in Los Cabos do surveillance work and when they observe people they remove them from the site.

A similar measure applies to all beaches in La Paz.
