In Loreto, the number of tourists is growing surprisingly

The secretary of tourism for Baja California Sur, Juan Luis Araiza, said the number of visitors to Loreto has increased by 72 percent in the last four years.

Loreto is known as the capital of the Californias, an incredible city port that recently hosted former U.S. President Barack Obama who took a four-day tour of the Gulf of California islands last January.

The growth of Loreto, which has first class hotels and an international airport has been from 32,000 tourists in 2015 to 54,000 in 2019. This is expected to be exceeded in this 2020.

This port, considered a magical town, is one of the largest English-speaking colonies in the Baja California peninsula, with high levels of security that is preferred by families from the United States and Canada who do not stop visiting every year.

By the way, when you visit Loreto, don't forget to ask for the best of its cuisine: the chocolate clams roasted on the beach. Enjoy them because it is something you will not find anywhere else in the world. A delicious meal.

Isn't this beautiful?
