Congressional worker in La Paz infected with coronavirus

A security guard from the Baja California Sur chamber of representatives has tested positive for covid-19, so an investigation were open since it is suspected that other employees may have symptoms of the disease.

Administrative Chief Luis Martin Aguilar announced that all activities of the Baja California Sur House of Representatives are suspended until May 31.

The health state director is requested to carry out a thorough cleaning and sanitation of  the facilities, including the offices of all the representatives.

The security worker's wife also tested positive for coronavirus. Both are now in home isolation.
