Firefighters clean up public areas of Cabo San Lucas



The city of Cabo San Lucas remains at a high level of coronavirus infection, making it the zero zone of Baja California Sur.



The federal government through the ministry of health has announced that the quarantine will be extended until May 30, which includes the entire state of Baja California Sur.

Earlier today, Cabo San Lucas firefighters conducted an intense clean-up campaign with water and chlorine on pedestrian bridges, bus stops, benches, sidewalks and the entire front area of the IMSS Hospital No. 26 where patients with the covid-19 are treated.

Currently Los Cabos county remains with 109 confirmed cases of the virus and one death. In La Paz there are 144 confirmed cases and five deceased.
