Surfboards confiscated from beachgoers in Cabo

In journeys made by the police and Civil Protection authorities in Los Cabos beaches, more than 150 people have been removed because we are still in phase three of the coronavirus epidemic.

Along the 119 miles of coastline of the municipality, families who are found in camping activities are invited to leave the area and go to lock themselves in their homes.

It has been different with surfers, as police officers and Civil Protection personnel take their boards away from them so that they do not return to the beach, although it is not clear what the procedure is for their return, since no fine is specified.

In this regard the director of the surf school "LINE UP", Francisco Padilla, today went to talk with Oscar Leggs Castro, municipal delegate of Cabo San Lucas, to have them allowed to continue with the practice of surfing on the beaches.
