Russian tourist was found dead in Los Barriles home

Police officers from the town of Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, were notified by radio yesterday morning that a tourist had died at a home near a hotel in Punta Pescadero. Cops asked to verify the information because all the hotels are closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

A minute after the radio station confirmed that the information was real, so they went to a home next to a well known hotel where they meet an American citizen, from Alaska, named Jason Alan, 49 years old.

Told the local cops that he was in the place with his girlfriend Nabatchicova Polina, 24, from Russia.

They had dinner, went to the pool where they drank wine and champagne, and then to their room where they slept from 11 p.m. onwards.

Jason Alan, in his story to the authorities, added that when he woke up yesterday, June 6, at approximately 6 a.m., he tried to get his girlfriend up but there was no reaction. Upon checking her, he realized she was not breathing, so they called the emergency numbers.

When Civil Protection paramedics arrived from Los Barriles, they checked the young woman and found that no longer had any signs of life.

For that reason, agents from the Attorney General's Office were called to learn about this event to start investigations and find out the causes of the young Russian woman's death.
