Some beaches in Los Cabos open on Monday



Within the protocols of phase 5 of the coronavirus pandemic, Armida Castro Guzman Mayor of Los Cabos, has announced some measures of opening and restrictions on businesses, shops, hotels and beaches.

This within the period of New Normality that takes effect for a week from Monday, when the following beaches are opened to the public from 10 am to 6 pm:

  • El Medano
  • Chileno
  • Las Viudas
  • Palmilla
  • Costa Azul
  • El Tule
  • Buenavista
  • La Ribera
  • Cabo Pulmo

All activities and presence of people in these spaces must be at 30 percent of capacity and will be supervised by security corporations personnel at a safe distance.

This 30 percent capacity will also be for all shops, restaurants, hotels and department stores, where they must also have antibacterial gel available to customers.

Those in charge of ensuring that these health measures are complied with are Civil Protection, Los Cabos Police, Federal Maritime Zone (ZOFEMAT) and Fiscal Inspection.
