30% of flights cancelled at Los Cabos Airport: RED ALERT

The Civil Protection council has issued a red alert, so all essential and non-essential activities in Los Cabos have been halted, as announced at noon today by Governor Carlos Mendoza Davis.

The military, municipal police and brigades, with the support of local transporters, continue to evacuate risk areas to bring families to shelters.

The international airport reports that 30 percent of international and domestic flights have been suspended, so it is important that you contact the airline and find out the status of your travel.

The Los Cabos Hotel Association has announced that there are currently between 8,500 and 9,000 tourists in the resorts, all under the protection of security protocols.

The effects of the hurricane are expected to be felt more strongly in Cabo San Lucas before nightfall on Wednesday.
