Girl Dies Drowned Along with Rescuer on Cabo San Lucas Beach

Despite the fact that the black flags were placed so that no one would enter the sea, today a tragedy happened on Ocho Cascadas beach where a 15-year-old girl drowned.

When witnesses observed, shortly before nightfall, that the girl was asking for help, the lifeguard of a local hotel entered to assist her, but because of the violent waves of the hurricane Genevieve, the rescuer also died at the site.

When the paramedics arrived, nothing could be done, because both were declared dead once they tried to revive the bodies on the beach.

All tourists and local residents are urged to stay away from the seashore, as the effects of the Genevieve weather phenomenon will not be felt until Friday.
