More doctors arrive in Baja California Sur for coronavirus emergency



Tomorrow, 18 doctors from different parts of Mexico will arrive to strengthen the care in the COVID-19 area, especially in the La Paz rehabilitation center known as "Teleton", established as a hospital extension for mild and moderate patients.

On Thursday, another four doctors will arrive, with a total of 22 who will be integrated into the IMSS Hospital Number 1, since it was recognized that there is a deficit of doctors in our state.

The governor Carlos Mendoza Davis warned that Mexico's independence celebration, also known as the night of the "grito" on September 15, is suspended. Ceremony will be transmitted in media outlets and on social networks. Also the military parade the next day that traditionally took place in all the Baja California Sur cities.

Regarding the return to classes, this will be done virtually, as announced by the federal authorities, and will only return to the classrooms when they can guarantee the health and safety of all, with appropriate distance and basic services.
