Halloween Celebrations Prohibited in Los Cabos

To prevent the number of COVID-19 infections from increasing during Halloween, Los Cabos Civil Protection personnel will make rounds in the neighborhoods and downtown, to prevent meetings or celebrations that encourage crowding.

These tours will be carried out in coordination with personnel from the Municipal Fiscal Inspection, Public Security, the National Guard, the Navy and the Army.

The above was announced by the municipal director of Civil Protection, Eric Santillan Castillo, who informed that on October 31st it is recommended that residents not hold meetings or celebrations that could put at risk the integrity of the cabeños.

He pointed out that the businesses that exceed the permitted capacity may be subject to economic sanctions or the closure of the establishment; in that sense, he emphasized that the facilities that respect the 50% capacity, the permitted schedule and the sanitary measures, will not have any problem.

Crowds of costumed people will not be allowed on the streets.
