Gringo survived to tell the tale

Today at noon, a U.S. citizen had an accident on the highway north of La Paz after his GMC Yukon flipped over due to speeding.

According to the local police report, Patrick J., 84, lost control of the vehicle at kilometer 7 of the road to El Centenario.

After making several turns, he was left at the side of the road. Paramedics of Calafia Group arrived at the scene and after checking it, they determined that he had miraculously been unharmed, thanks to the fact that he was wearing his seat belt.

The GMC Yukon, with visible damage to its body, was towed by a crane to the municipal police patios.
