Monitoring in Los Cabos banks to keep healthy distance

As part of the work to prevent the spread of COVID-19 in the region, Civil Protection officials  in Los Cabos make supervisory tours of banking centers, seeking to prevent the establishments from becoming a point of infection.

It should be noted that the rounds are carried out in coordination with personnel from the Municipal Fiscal Inspection, the police, the army and the National Guard.

In this regard, the municipal director of Civil Protection, Eric Santillan Castillo, said that it is verified that banks comply with the health measures requested by the State Committee on Health Security.

Out of 15 visits, only 2 banks have been warned to comply with the health measures and protocols.

To conclude, Santillan Castillo explained that the banks handle health protocols at a national level, which allows for greater control over the number of clients who enter the institutions.
