Los Cabos is the safest resort in Mexico... Confirmed!


During the meeting of the members of the Security Analysis Board, it was announced that thanks to the inter-institutional work of the three levels of government, Los Cabos is ranked as the safest tourist center in Mexico, according to the results of the thirtieth survey of the National Survey of Urban Public Safety (ENSU) conducted by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (INEGI).

The municipalities with the lowest perception of insecurity in the country are; San Pedro Garza García with 8.2%, Tampico with 25.2%, in a tie are San Nicolás de los Garza and Los Cabos with 26.2%, followed by Piedras Negras with 29.4% and Mérida with 30.3%.

Other tourist resorts, such as Cancun and Acapulco, are currently facing serious problems that local and federal authorities are fighting.
