The first cruise ship arrives in Cabo San Lucas on Monday!


Municipal authorities and the Administracion Portuaria Integral (API) will join forces to welcome approximately 3,000 Carnival Cruise Line tourists on August 23rd, signaling the resumption of cruise ship operations in Cabo San Lucas Bay after a year and a half of suspension due to the sanitary crisis caused by the COVID-19. 

This was announced by the municipal delegate of Cabo San Lucas, Manuel Salvador Castro Ceseña, who detailed that he had the visit of engineer Fernando Hoyos Romero, general manager of the API of Cabo San Lucas, who shared excellent news for the tourist destination, informing that as of August 23 the first cruise ships will begin to come in, expecting in this first arrival the affluence of up to 3 thousand 500 tourists, which means a significant economic spill. 

"The cruise will arrive respecting all the protocols that are established and with 50% of its capacity, which are excellent news after a year and a half of not having the visit of tourists through the nautical way. API will request logistical support to Los Cabos government, to receive the ship this August 23", explained Castro Cesena.
