WELL DONE: Infection continue to drop in La Paz and Los Cabos

Baja California Sur will remain under the differentiated health alert level scheme, agreed the members of the State Health Security Committee, after voting for the municipality of Loreto to go from level 5 to 4, Mulege to remain at level 4, Comondu to advance to 2 and La Paz and Los Cabos to remain at level 1, this from October 14 to 20 of this year.

Despite the fact that the pandemic's behavior has demonstrated some stability, the need is to sustain prevention efforts because the pandemic is still present.

"It's critical that we maintain care because it's worth the effort we all put in; progress is crucial, but not regressing is the goal," Governor Victor Manuel Castro Cosio stated.

The governor also advised officials and residents in the municipalities of Comondu, Loreto, and Mulege to enhance prevention and self-care duties so that they might achieve greater mobility in the short term.

At the meeting it was reported that the level of effective reproduction in the five municipalities shows a downward trend, Los Cabos with 0.85, La Paz 0.7, Comondú, 0.8, Loreto 0.75 and Mulegé with 0.8.
