A $15.5 million unfinished villa in Los Cabos has sold

According to listing agent Cameron Kimball of Waypoint Real Estate, an under-construction home in Cabo San Lucas has sold for $15.5 million.

Ramesh Cherukuri, 66, a cardiothoracic surgeon at McLaren Health Care in Michigan, purchased the unit as a vacation house, according to the seller.

Mr. Kimball said the oceanfront villa, which cost $16 million, was the most expensive apartment at the Residences at the St. Regis Los Cabos at Quivira, a new development on the Baja California peninsula.

Dr. Cherukuri's advice will be used to finish the villa, which is set to be completed in 2023.

It will be roughly 13,000 square feet with six bedrooms and will be located on the Pacific Ocean.

While on vacation last summer, Dr. Cherukuri and his wife, Radha Cherukuri, a physician, fell in love with Los Cabos.

He stated he appreciated the St. Regis' concierge services and that this villa will be located on the beach, with its back to a cliff.

He remarked, "I adore that mix."
