Cops found expat woman on Cerro de la Calavera yesterday

Yesterday afternoon, Monday, La Paz police responded to the cell phone call to rescue an American citizen who was on top of the Cerro de la Calavera (skull hill), where she went for a walk.

The city cops, with a bilingual officer, went up one of the paths in search of the woman who was asking for help.

They reached her at the top of the north side. Luckily found her in good health, but with symptoms of dehydration. She identified herself as 62-year-old Nancy.

She was supported in her descent to a safe area.

This story had a happy ending.
