Baja California Sur is the safest state in Mexico

Great advances in crime reduction have been made in recent years in the state of Baja California Sur, which has been considered the safest in Mexico.

Yesterday the governor announced that homicides have been reduced to 90 percent by 2020, making the state the second most advanced in eradicating this type of crime.

"In Baja California Sur, recovering and maintaining the tranquility of bajacalifornians, and those who visit us, has been one of the priorities of my government, a task that has been carried out by the three orders of government, civil and military forces, hand in hand with society," said Carlos Mendoza Davis, governor.

He mentioned that during 2020 most of the crimes of homicide have been solved by capturing 54 to bring them before the judges and from there to prison.
