Los Cabos: The second safest place in Mexico

According to data published by the Institute of Geography and Statistics of Mexico (INEGI), Los Cabos is the second municipality in Mexico with the lowest perception of insecurity.

Mayor Armida Castro said that only organized work to ensure peace and order, by authorities, businessmen and society, make a safer place.

"The result of the survey is a tribute to the great work done by the agencies in charge of security in its three levels of government, such as: Sedena, Navy, National Guard, PGJE, civic courts, State Police, Municipal Police, representatives of the Government of Mexico and myself, by heading the Security Roundtable as a priority of the XIII Los Cabos City Council," she said.

Currently there are preventive and social proximity campaigns such as "Whatsappeando" or Vecino Vigilante, which generate a direct link between the inhabitants and the first line of response: their municipal police.

"In response to the population's request, we continue working through the Security Table, the available emergency numbers, with businessmen and mainly with the commanders of each sector of the municipality, with whom the members of the Citizen Participation Committees."

The safest city in Mexico is currently San Pedro Garza in the state of Nuevo Leon.

Desde el primer día de nuestra Administración, le apostamos a devolver la tranquilidad y la seguridad a Los Cabos, hoy...
