Main Cabo San Lucas beach with sanitation protocols in place

In order to avoid an increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 and to keep on going backwards in the Health Alert System of Baja California Sur, Los Cabos Government has permanent sanitary filters at the accesses to El Medano beach, the principal beach of Cabo San Lucas, where visitors are informed about all the measures to prevent contagion inside the place, temperature is taken and antibacterial gel is applied.

It should be noted that the tourist destination is in level 3 of the Health Alert System of Baja California Sur, which allows a 50% capacity on the beaches, as well as a distance of 3 square meters between each family that attends.

In this sense, it is important to remember that the use of masks is mandatory in public spaces, specifically in bathrooms, dressing rooms, drinking fountains and parking lots of the beaches, since these places can be a red focus of contagion if the necessary care is not taken.

Families are reminded that beach access hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for the general public and from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for sportsmen and women.
