Cabo San Lucas - There are encouraging numbers, but not at an acceptable level, in reference to the decrease of cases that are being registered in this municipality, according to what was announced by the inter-institutional monitoring table of the pandemic, within the Council of businessmen of Los Cabos.

According to its president, Mr. Julio Castillo Gomez, at the moment there are 45 hospitalized patients, of which 18 are being intubated and 23 are in serious condition.

On Friday, hospital occupancy was 15 percent and today, Monday, it dropped to 13 percent.

Castillo Gomez pointed out that there is progress, since in number of infections there are better than a month and a half ago, but not at the level of March of this year when there were between 15 and 20 infections per day and around 20 hospitalized patients.
