LOS CABOS: Some streets shattered by rains from Tropical Storm Kevin

A lot of rain since last night has left the passage of Tropical Storm Kevin in the south of the Baja California peninsula, which has been well received by its people after two years of drought, especially those living in the rural area.

The municipal government opened shelters for those living in flood zones in the cities of Cabo San Lucas, San José del Cabo, Miraflores, La Ribera and Santiago.

At the moment there has only been material damage to streets that will need repair and general cleaning due to the collapsed drainage system.

The most affected areas are neighborhoods on the outskirts of the main cities, where heavy machinery is already working on repairs.

The rain is expected to continue tomorrow, so the population in general is asked to be careful and not to go near the seashore because there are very high waves.

Air and road traffic was not interrupted.
