There are 40 very critical patients in Los Cabos hospitals

Monitoring continues in the neighborhoods of Los Cabos municipality, in order to avoid crowds that could lead to an out-of-control increase in the number of infections in this coronavirus pandemic.

This was reported at the pandemic analysis bureau, where the president of the Los Cabos Business Council, Mr. Julio Castillo Gomez, continues to make recommendations to citizens to avoid going out if it is not necessary.

He said that over the weekend they had reports of crowds of people in the flea markets and, he also noticed that a party had to be suspended in San Jose del Cabo, because they did not observe any prevention protocol.

In addition, Castillo Gomez continued, surveillance will be reinforced in Cabo San Lucas, due to reports in the Lomas del Sol and Lomas  Altas neighborhoods, where grocery stores are not following the safety measures that have already been explained, especially the mandatory use of masks.

This Monday there are 63 patients in public and private hospitals, of which 23 are intubated and 40 are in a very serious condition.

According to the report of the State Health Office on its official web page, there are currently 215 people infected with coronavirus in the Los Cabos municipality.

Julio Castillo Gomez, insisted on recommending people not to leave the house if it is not very necessary, besides taking into consideration that the use of masks is mandatory in Baja California Sur.
