In Los Cabos the most expensive taco in the world

The Grand Velas Los Cabos, located on Mexico's Baja Peninsula, prepares the world's most costly taco. The resort is known for its outstanding cuisine, but one restaurant goes above and above by offering the world's most costly taco. It's the Frida restaurant, named for Frida Kahlo, a well-known Mexican artist.

Even Frida Kahlo might raise an eyebrow at this two-person lunch.

As reported on the website Industry Leaders, when it comes to tacos, Frida Mexican cuisine has something special to offer. The dish is created with zeal and meticulous attention to detail.

The corn tortilla is laced with gold flakes, which give it a unique flavor. The tacos' inside are similarly intriguing. Inside, you'll find Kobe beef, the world's most costly cut of meat. Almas Beluga caviar is also available and is served at some of the world's most prestigious restaurants. Langoustine and black truffle brie cheese are also used in the taco.

Exotic salsa made with dried Morita chili peppers and Ley.925 ultra-premium aejo tequila is served on top. This combination of ingredients is only conceivable if you have super-skilled cooks who can put everything together correctly.

Juan Licerio Alcala, a native of Durango, Mexico, is the chef in charge of this marvel. He suggests pairing this taco with a bottle of tequila named Ley .925 Pasión Azteca Ultra Premium Añejo, which he endorses. This bottle is a story of exclusivity and uniqueness in and of itself. It also comes with a $150,000 price tag.

The taco dish for two costs $25,000, indicating that nothing here is designed for the average 9-to-5 employee.
