TODOS SANTOS: Criminals who kidnapped a EXPAT arrested

 


La Paz.- Information was released today about the operation that authorities of the Attorney General's Office carried out last night in the Calafia neighborhood, where three people were arrested who were holding a foreigner who was reported missing on Thursday.


"A criminal gang of kidnappers from the state of Sinaloa has been dismantled," said Attorney General Daniel de la Rosa Anaya.


He revealed that "upon having knowledge of the fact and having the complaint about the case, the Attorney General's Office began the investigation through the protocols of action for the attention of this type of crime through the Specialized Unit Against Kidnapping".


In this way, it was possible to find the address in the Calafia neighborhood where the rescue operation was carried out, giving priority to the victim's life.


De la Rosa Anaya added that the following were arrested at the scene:


Natividad "N" 31 years old nicknamed "El Palillo".

Javier "N", 23 years old, nicknamed "El Orejas".

Juan "N", 21 years old, nicknamed "El Juanito".


A firearm was also seized at the site.


Finally, he highlighted that "so far this year there have been 3 kidnapping cases in Baja California Sur state, events in which, through the Specialized Unit to Combat Kidnapping, successful operations were carried out that culminated in the seizure and arrest of the probable perpetrators, who are already under trial and in preventive custody".
